Where is the event located?

Pedal to Fight Parkinson’s event is at Adelaide Oval on the 13 – 14 June 2024, 12pm – 12pm.

Riders are asked to arrive 15mins before their scheduled ride time. If you are unsure what time 
you are riding, please check in with your Team Captain.

After hours access to Adelaide Oval

Between 5pm Thursday 13 until 7am Friday 14 June, access to Adelaide Oval will be closed.

  • If you are riding, or planning on attending the event afterhours, we need to know your name 
    and what time you are arriving. Please advise your Team Captain if you are riding afterhours.

    Please ensure you have emailed your team timetable/roster to our events team events@hosptialresearch.org.au before Wednesday 12 June.

  • Access to the Oval will be via the South Gate through the door closest to Koffee Ink Café.

  • A security guard will have a list of riders, please ensure you have ID with you. 
    (Adelaide Oval will be closed to the public, and security will only allow access to riders that have advised they are attending during these hours.

What is happening during the 24-hour event?

Directly after the event on Friday (12noon until 1.30pm) riders are invited to join us on the Southern 
Concourse at Adelaide Oval, for some light nibbles and a free drink to say ‘thanks!

(Riders receive 1 x drink token, and then a cash bar will be available to purchase additional drinks.)

Pedal to Fight Parkinson's raffle - 1 x ticket $10 or 3 x tickets $25

Raffle will be located near the Team Bikes. Tickets can be purchased from our Events Team (Cash 
& Eftpos facilities available). Raffle will be drawn at the end of the event.

1st Prize - 2 x SANFL Hostplus League Grand Final Luncheon Tickets - Sun 22 Sept 2024

Beanies can be purchased from our Events Team (cash & Eftpos facilities available).

What do I need to bring if I'm riding?

Personal belongings - our event space is limited, so please only bring with you what you need for 
your ride. All personal belongings are your responsibility during the event.


Towel - We anticipant you may work up a sweat, so bring a small workout towel to place safely on 
your bike to keep you cooler and more comfortable.


What to wear - Suitable work out wear! Everyday workout clothes such as a t-shirt or tank top, 
shorts, leggings - items that are comfortable for cycling. If your team has a uniform/sporting attire 
(sporting clubs, corporates etc) please wear something to represent your team!
Please ensure you dress warmly. There will be some heaters set up, however the concourse at 
Adelaide Oval is likely to be a little cool.


Water & Snacks - Please bring enough water & food with you, for your schedule time on the bike 
(some snacks will be available to riders during the event). Koffee Ink Café (located on Telstra 
Plaza) is open 7.30am – 4pm to purchase drinks and food.

Do all riders have to register to ride?

YES – Anyone who is riding on a team bike, must register to ride. Online registrations are open until 
Midnight Tuesday 11 June*. 


*We do understand that there might be some last minute, unavoidable changes to riders, so in 
this instance we will have paper registration and event waivers that that can be completed at the 
event. Please see our Event Team who will provide the new rider with a registration form.

the whole 24-hour event. Please don’t hesitate to speak to them if you have a question or require
