After decades of selfless service as a respected teacher, footballer, coach, and community member, Jeff McMaster was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson's disease.
Never one to seek pity or ask for a handout, Jeff has kept his diagnosis relatively private. However, he has remained committed to leading by example by staying as active as possible and refusing to let the disease dictate how he lives his life.
This year we are raising funds to support life-changing research and improve services for people like Jeff living with Parkinson's.
Sadly, 50 Australians are diagnosed with Parkinson's every day, and there is currently no cure. We're doing our part to change this by getting active and fundraising for people impacted by Parkinson's.
