Our team, ‘Pedal for Palmy’ has officially signed up for the Pedal to Fight Parkinson’s challenge—an intense 24-hour stationary cycling relay at Adelaide Oval.
This cause is deeply personal for us. We are taking on this challenge with Palma close in our thoughts. As we navigate this time to better understand and plan for the long Parkinson's journey ahead, we want to channel our energy into doing something truly meaningful to support Palma and everyone else facing this disease.
The statistics are confronting: sadly, 1 Australian is diagnosed with Parkinson’s every 50 minutes, and there is currently no cure. We are doing our part to change this by getting active and raising vital funds to support life-changing research and improve services for people living with Parkinson's.
