...and raising funds to support life-changing research and improve services for people living with Parkinson's.

Sadly, 50 Australians are diagnosed with Parkinsons every single day, and there is currently no cure. I'm doing my part to change this by getting active and fundraising for people impacted by Parkinson's.

Please sponsor me today and make a real difference to progress life-changing research and improve services to maximise choice, independence and wellbeing for people living with Parkinson's.

Why I’m doing Pedal for Parkinson’s

Friday 10th Jul

This July, I’m taking part in Pedalling to Fight Parkinson’s, raising funds to support life-changing research and improve services for people living with Parkinson’s.

Hosted by The Hospital Research Foundation Group in partnership with SANFL, the 50 Day Virtual Challenge encourages participants to ride as far as they can over 50 days while raising vital funds for Parkinson’s research.

Sadly, 50 Australians are diagnosed with Parkinson’s every day, and despite its impact on so many families, there is still no cure. By taking on this challenge, I’m hoping to do my small part to make a difference.

Over the last six months of 2026, I’ve committed to supporting a different charity or cause each month through a fitness challenge. After a really difficult start to the year, I wanted to finish 2026 with purpose. These challenges have become a way to channel my energy into something positive while giving back to people who are facing challenges far greater than my own. It’s a reminder that everyone is carrying something, and even a small act of support can make a meaningful difference.

This challenge is especially close to my heart.

During June, I lost my Grandpa after watching him live with a number of health conditions, including Parkinson’s. Seeing the disease slowly take away his mobility and independence over the years was incredibly difficult, not only for him but for our whole family.

This month, I’m riding in his memory and for every family affected by Parkinson’s. I hope the funds raised can help support research, improve services, and bring us one step closer to better treatments—and one day, a cure.

If you’re able to, I’d be incredibly grateful for any donation, big or small. Thank you for supporting such an important cause.
