This year, I'm Pedalling To Fight Parkinson's...
In 2021 my wife Aphrodite (Freda) was diagnosed with Parkinsons. Living with this condition on a day to day basis has been extremely challenging for Freda and myself as her carer.
As with many neurological conditions there is so much more to learn about what causes it and how to prevent it.
Raising funds to support life-changing research and improve services for people living with Parkinson's is absolutely essential.
Sadly, 50 Australians are diagnosed with Parkinsons every single day, and there is currently no cure. I'm doing my part to change this by getting active and fundraising for people impacted by Parkinson's.
